Realistic skin with specular maps tutorial by TheRaiderInside Realistic skin with specular maps tutorial by TheRaiderInside
Pattern for gimp used in tutorial: [link]

To install the pattern for use: Go to OS (C:)>Program files (x86)>Gimp-2.0 (number of version you have)>share>gimp>2.0 (number of version you have)>patterns and paste the file.

To get it to show up in gimp go Windows>Dockable dialogs>Patterns and hit the refresh button to see it.

How to test specular maps in XNAlara/XNA posing studio: Go to options>Lighting parameters and change the second or last lighting color to black and change the intensity.

Happy modding everybody!! :D

Open up the diffuse map in gimp. Go to Colors>Hue saturation and change the color from there. Be warned select the color of the clothes before so you won't change everything.

There is another method, create a new visible layer copied from the original and turn the layer mode to "color" draw on it with any color to get the desired effects.
